For their second group match of Euro 2016, Les Bleus France faces Albania Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 21h in Marseille.

Match Schedule:
France vs. Albania
UEFA Euro 2016
Date: 2016 June 15; tart at: 3:00 PM
Venue: Stade Velodrome

Both teams know each other well. Because both team are played two friendly matches between November 2014 and June 2015. The first confrontation in Rennes had ended in a 1-1 draw, while the Albanians had taken top at the second meeting (1-0).

To rank among the 24 best teams in Europe, Albania has been working to finish second in Group I of qualifications (4 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses) behind Portugal.

The opening match was won by the Blues France following a remarkable goal Dimitri Payet in the final moments. This happy outcome cannot hide however the difficulties that French players had to create chances and convert them for 90 minutes.

Opposite, the Albanians have conceded defeat against Switzerland in their first match. Quickly reduced to 10 after the red card captain Lorik Cana they, Albanians have not fallen, but the level gap between the two teams was too important.

This match is of particular importance for Albania, another defeat definitively shut them access to the first two places. Conversely, a result (draw or win) would boost the total interest of a group for the moment dominated by France and Switzerland.
